Kickstart Her Game

Kickstart Her Game is our initiative dedicated to empowering young girls and women through football. In a sport traditionally dominated by men, we create safe and supportive spaces where girls can discover their athletic potential and develop confidence both on and off the pitch.

The program operates in schools and community centers across Cyprus, offering free football coaching, mentoring from female role models, and pathways to competitive play. We provide all necessary equipment and ensure that financial barriers never prevent any girl from participating.

Beyond football skills, participants learn about leadership, teamwork, goal-setting, and resilience. Many have gone on to join competitive teams, with some representing Cyprus at youth national team level.

We are proud to have expanded from an initial pilot in 2 schools to now operating in 7 schools across Nicosia, reaching hundreds of girls every year. Our vision is to continue growing until every girl in Cyprus who wants to play football has the opportunity to do so.
